Delete Your Account
Last updated August 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data for the URS Networks app (published on Google Play by URS Technologies LLC, and operated by URS Networks LLC). You can ask us to delete your account at any time — here’s how, and here’s exactly what happens to your data.
The URS Networks app (“URS Network,” the “Service”) is operated by URS Networks LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company wholly owned by URS Technologies LLC. Deleting your account is free, and you can request it whether or not you have a paid membership.
1How to request deletion
To request that your account and associated data be deleted, follow these steps:
- Open the URS Networks app and sign in to the account you want to delete, so we can verify the request comes from you.
- Message the coordination team from inside the app. Open your inbox / messages and send a message to the coordination team stating that you want to delete your account and associated data.
- Or email us from the address on your account at admin@ursnetworks.com with the subject “Account deletion request.” Emailing from your account address helps us verify it’s you.
- Confirm. We may reply to confirm your identity and make sure you understand what will be removed. Once confirmed, we begin the deletion described below.
If you can’t sign in, email admin@ursnetworks.com from the email address associated with your account and we’ll help verify you another way.
2What data is deleted
When your deletion request is verified and processed, we delete or anonymize the personal data tied to your account, including:
- Account & profile. Your email, sign-in credentials (through our authentication provider), name, username, headline, location, profession, work history, website, and availability.
- Content you created. Your posts, showcases, shared links, messages, and your network activity.
- Map presence. Your location and how you appear on the shared map.
- Preferences & technical data. Preferences and local-storage settings (such as your accent color) and associated device/log identifiers tied to your account.
Published web showcases and content shared into shared spaces are removed from public view as part of deletion, though cached or archived copies held by third parties (such as search engines) are outside our control.
3What data is kept, and for how long
We keep your information only while your account is active. After a verified deletion request, we remove or anonymize your personal data on the timeline below. A limited amount of data is retained where the law requires it or where it’s needed for security and dispute resolution:
- Personal data — deleted within 30 days. Your profile, content, messages, and map presence are deleted or irreversibly anonymized within 30 days of a verified request.
- Backups — purged within 90 days. Residual copies in our encrypted backups are overwritten on our normal backup cycle, no later than 90 days after deletion.
- Payment & transaction records — kept as required by law. If you had a paid membership, billing is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. We and Paddle retain the transaction and tax records required by law (typically up to 7 years). We do not store your full card details.
- Legal, safety & fraud-prevention records — kept as needed. Where we must retain limited information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes, we keep only what is necessary and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Retained records are limited to the categories above and are not used to rebuild your profile or contact you for marketing.
4Accounts that never started a trial
If you created an account but never started your free trial, that account and its associated data are automatically removed within 24 hours of signup — no request needed.
5Deleting vs. cancelling
Deleting your account is different from cancelling a paid membership. Cancelling stops future renewals but keeps your account; deleting removes your account and data as described above. If you only want to stop billing, see our Refund Policy. For more detail on how we handle data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
